How Does It Work?
autoChalk uses a new and innovative method of image
analysis
without the need for license plate recognition. Using the vehicle's
shape, color and size and a very accurate GPS, autoChalk's patented technology records the exact location and identifying
characteristics of each vehicle. The next time the PEO drives by
violating vehicles, autoChalk sounds an alarm. autoChalk can scan
thousands of vehicles per hour depending on the conditions.
Before and after color images are recorded of the vehicle's profile and
license plate (if visible). The PEO makes the final decision based
on photographic evidence.
