CPA Ted Seeberg Memorial Award

Tannery Creek founder Bill Franklin, P.Eng. received the Canadian Parking Association's Ted Seeberg Memorial Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Canadian Parking and Mobility Industry — the association's most prestigious individual honour.

The award recognizes Bill's role as the visionary behind autoChalk — the world's first digital chalking solution — and his two decades of leadership transforming how municipalities, universities, hospitals, airports, and private operators manage parking enforcement across North America. Beyond product innovation, Bill has been an active contributor through the CPA, the International Parking & Mobility Institute, and numerous industry forums, consistently championing knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the profession.

IPI Award of Excellence — Honorable Mention

The International Parking & Mobility Institute recognized the Calgary ParkPlus program with an Award of Excellence, with autoChalk as a critical core component scanning thousands of vehicles daily. The ParkPlus system was the first pay-by-plate parking program in Canada, and autoChalk's enforcement technology was essential to making it work at scale.

VML Achievement Award

The City of Fredericksburg, Virginia received the Virginia Municipal League Achievement Award for their innovative use of autoChalk's digital chalking system and warning/escalating fines program — a first-of-its-kind approach to graduated parking enforcement that replaced traditional tire chalking with ALPR technology.
